Terms and Conditions for Advertisers

Minimum purchase is US$10 (100 pixels).
Maximum purchase is however many pixels are available when we process your order.

• When you pay for pixels on Rail Pixels, you will not own any part of the homepage or the site www.railpixels.com. You are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the homepage in the space for which you have paid.



• You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, which will be on Rail Pixels for at least 5 years unless there are strong reasons to do so. These reasons can include your site no longer existing, major structural change to your site, lawsuits, etc.



• There are no refunds under any circumstances once your image and link are accepted and published on Rail Pixels.
• Rail Pixels will not change and will be online for a guaranteed 5 years from 16th January 2006 and possibly very much longer. We aim for but cannot guarantee one million visitors to the Rail Pixel homepage within 5 years.



• No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted; the management of Rail Pixels decides what is appropriate for the site. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will be able to propose an alternative; otherwise a refund will be made and you will lose your pixels.



• If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material, your link will be removed without appeal until you provide a new one. You will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.



• You can at any stage request that your image and link be removed from the homepage. However you will not get a refund and the pixels will be available for sale.



• Images must be the exact size you have paid for (e.g. 100 pixels = 10x10 pixels)



• Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size - ie no more than 50K.



• Images must NOT be animated.



• Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://



• You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.



• Full payment must be received and cleared before your pixels go live on Rail Pixels.



• There may be occasional downtime for site maintenance but this will be kept to a minimum.



• Once full payment has cleared, we aim but cannot guarantee to get your pixels online within 48hrs.
